HHS speech brings hardware home from Fort Benton

Havre High School speech and debate saw success in a revived tournament in Fort Benton Friday, bringing home two team trophies, a first-place student finish and seven other Blue Ponies making it on stage to collect top-eight finishes.

“This was a great job by our students,” head coach Tim Leeds said. “We had a smaller team compet than we had hoped due to conflicting events, illness and other issues, but the Havre team did very well at a competitive tournament.”
