Montana Environment Information Center is proud to honor social and environmental justice advocate Michaelynn Hawk with its highest award. Since 1978 the MEIC Conservationist of the Year Award goes to a person who has dedicated their life to protecting Montana’s environment. Hawk understands the connections between social and environmental justice and has devoted her life to making Montana a more just and equitable place for all.
