St. Jude Thaddeus School lists Student of the Month

Cassandra Gibson has been selected as St. Jude Thaddeus School November Student of the Month.

She is the daughter of Micah and Karen Gibson.

Cassie is a seventh grader and her favorite subjects are history and science. She is an honor roll student and is active in the student council as its treasurer. Cassie loves to read, and fantasy books are her favorite genre.

Cassie's teachers describe her as a hard worker and someone who is genuinely kind to others. She cares about the subjects she is learning about and always turns in quality work.

When asked what she likes best about going to school at St. Jude, she said, "Everyone is kind here and I love my teachers."

Cassie participates in volleyball and basketball during the school year and is very busy with activities outside of the school. She has been very successful in rodeo since the third grade and is fourth in state by the Montana High School Rodeo Association in junior girls' goat tying and pole-bending. Cassie also won the junior girls' goat tying in the Hi-Line Little Britches series. 4-H is also a big part of Cassie's life outside of school as she is involved in steer showmanship, big showmanship and won the horsemanship award at the 2019 Great Northern Fair.

When Cassie gets older, she plans to attend college, where she wants to compete in college rodeo. When asked what she would like to do as a profession, Cassie states that it's too early to tell since she is just in seventh grade.
