Havre Police Department

Someone in the Havre area reported a sex offense Friday at 11:46 a.m.

A Lincoln Avenue caller asked to speak Friday at 4 p.m. about a stolen truck. Isaac Chapa, who was named as the calling party in the dispatch log, was listed in the jail roster as being held on two counts of motor vehicle theft and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license.

A caller reported Friday at 7:37 p.m. that a Chevrolet pickup truck was in the ditch on U.S. Highway 2 West.

--

Brandon Wallace Beck of Hogeland, 24, was arrested on five Justice of City court warrants, during a vehicle stop on First Street West Friday at 9:03 p.m.

A 16-year-old Havre boy was issued a summons on juvenile curfew violations after a Lincoln Avenue caller reported Saturday at 1:09 a.m. their son hadn't come home yet.

Christopher Michael Partin of Helena, 35, was arrested on charges of traffic crime, aggravated driving under the influence and failure to produce proof of vehicle insurance, during a vehicle stop on Fifth Street Saturday at 2:10 a.m.

Thomas Russell Welch of Havre, 28, was arrested on a DUI charge, and Zachery James Flansburg of Havre, 25, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct with physical contact, after a First Street caller at 3:40 a.m. Saturday asked to have officers check on a man.

A 14th Avenue caller reported Saturday at 11:48 a.m. that a vehicle had gotten scratched.

Anthony Ernest Stremcha of Havre, 56, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, after a caller Saturday at 4:01 p.m. requested officer assistance at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business.

A caller at a First Street West business reported someone using a fake $20 today at 1:46 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 13-year-old Box Elder boy was issued a summons on three counts of criminal mischief, after a caller at Box Elder School reported vandalism Friday at 11:06 a.m.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, forgery or fraud Saturday at 11:26 a.m.

--

An attempted theft was reported Saturday at 5:31 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

--

Loreal Stanley of Box Elder, 26, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 8:40 p.m.

--

A Second Street Northwest caller reported a missing black wallet Saturday at 10:19 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Friday, seven calls Saturday and one Sunday.

--

Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire at Eighth Street and 10th Avenue Sunday at 8:27 p.m. and a structure fire on the 600 Block of County Road 860 Northwest at 6:06 a.m. The structure fire was still in progress at deadline today so no one was available at the fire department to provide information.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held six cats and one kitten of unknown gender, two male and three female cats, and three female kittens.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male pit bull terrier dog, a female mix-breed 22-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler mix dog, a mixed breed dog of unlisted gender, a female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix dog, a male mix-breed dog, one male mix-breed 6-month-old puppy and a Labrador retriever of unlisted gender.
