Havre Police Department

A Grant Avenue caller reported someone trying to steal a vehicle Monday at 6:13 a.m.

A dog bite was reported Monday at 10:35 a.m. by a caller at the hospital.

A Washington Avenue caller Monday at 3:27 p.m. reported the theft of a package.

Two arrests were made after a caller at a First Street West business reported Monday at 9:10 p.m. that two people who had already been told to leave were at the business. No details on charges were provided, but Gladys Jean Flatlip and Jerry Neal Flatlip, who were names as involved parties in the dispatch log, were listed in this morning's jail roster, each being held on a Havre Police charge of trespassing.

A summons was issued after a Havre area caller asked at 12:57 a.m. today to speak to an officer. No details on the charges were provided.

Fernando Herminio Bautista of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of open container in the city, shoplifting, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and resisting arrest, after officers were notified of a hold-up alarm activation at a First Street business at 4:10 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Leo Glen Duran of Rocky Boy, 47, was arrested on a state District Court warrant at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 2:50 p.m.

Gladys Jean Flatlip of Box Elder, 49, was arrested on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs, reported Monday at 11:57 p.m. during intake at the detention center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Monday, one with two people treated.

Firefighters responded to an alarm activation on the 10 Block of Third Street West at 7:45 a.m. Monday. No fire was detected and the elevators were reset, but alarm technicians had to be called in to reset the alarms.

Firefighters responded to a report of a power line arcing on the 800 Block of 11th Avenue at 1:01 a.m. today. High winds had caused a problem with two lines touching. The fire crew and police officers provided standby while NorthWestern Energy crews repaired the problem.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three cats of unknown gender, five female cats and one male kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, a female Jack Russell terrier 26-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 6-month-old puppy, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler mix dog, a female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix dog, a male Labrador retriever dog, a male mix-breed 7-month-old puppy, a male 11-month-old pit bull terrier and a Labrador retriever of unlisted gender.

Births

A boy was born Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019, to Diana Rose Snell and William Taylor Kirkaldie of Lodge Pole.
