Havre Police Department

William Joseph Williams Jr. of Havre, 34, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, after a caller at Havre City Hall reported a man was sleeping by the back door Friday at 5:04 p.m.

A caller at a First Street business reported Friday at 6:40 p.m. that a man and a woman tried to use fake $20 bills and left heading eastbound.

Saturday at 8:37 a.m., hospital personnel reported a dog bite.

--

Aariana Marie Horn of Havre, 20, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a minor in possession charge after a caller on Second Street reported Saturday at 9:31 a.m. that a family member was causing a disturbance.

A Fourth Avenue caller at 10:14 a.m. Saturday reported the theft of a license plate.

Waldron Wayne Crows Breast Jr. of Harlem, 50, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and open container in the city, after a man whom officers investigated for suspicious activity at 1:13 a.m. on Ninth Avenue, was released by the hospital at 2:03 a.m.

A caller at a First Street business reported an unclaimed backpack at 2:58 p.m. Sunday.

--

A caller at a First Street establishment called Sunday at 9:25 p.m. for a welfare check and ride home for a person.

Alfred C. Morsette of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of failing to yield right of way, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, failing to carry proof vehicle insurance and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a Justice or City court warrant, during a vehicle stop at Fourth Street and 10th Avenue Sunday at 11:35 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Steven Lee Strike of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of violation of a no-contact order and "attempt" on a warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at noon.

Frazier Lewis Denny of Rocky Boy, 47 was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant east of Havre Friday at 3:20 p.m.

James Dean Stump of Box Elder, 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and charges of endangering the welfare of children and partner or family member assault, and a 16-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of MIP, after a callers on 86th Avenue West reported someone dressed in black walking in the middle of the road yelling Friday at 5:58 p.m. and a second call from that street reported a disturbance at 6:59 p.m.

Bernard George Bell of Dodson, 67, was arrested on charges of criminal child endangerment and driving under the influence, refused to test, after a 32nd Avenue Northeast caller reported suspicious activity at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies were called at 11:36 p.m. Saturday to assist Rocky Boy Police Department in a pursuit that entered Beaver Creek Park.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 87 establishment in Box Elder reported a woman causing a disturbance at 8:28 a.m. Sunday.

--

A Second Avenue Southwest caller reported a breaking and entering theft of an RV Sunday at 12:34 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, two calls Saturday, three calls Sunday and one call.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held five 16-week-old kittens and three cats of unknown gender, five female cats, one male cat and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, a female Jack Russell terrier 6-month-old puppy, a female mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 6-month-old puppy, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler mix dog, two male mix-breed 7-month-old puppies, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male 11-month-old pit bull terrier and a Labrador retriever of unlisted gender.

Births

A girl was born Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, to Ashley and Richard Nieft of Chinook.
