Lions Swim Team members Audrey Taylor and Carson Sandstrom pose Tuesday for a portrait on the deck of the Havre Community Pool. Taylor and Sandstrom will be representing Havre during the Washington Open Meet in Federal Way, Washington.
Two athletes from the Havre Lions Swim Team, Audrey Taylor and Carson Sandstrom, have qualified to compete in the Washington Open in Federal Way, Washington, Jan. 16-19.
"It's a really proud moment. Seeing these athletes succeed and qualify for meets that are above our state is pretty awesome, and to see them go above, it's just a proud moment as a coach," Havre Lions Swim Team head coach Hayley Coursey said.
