Havre Police Department

A Havre area caller reported Monday at 10:55 a.m. finding a debit card.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported by a caller at a First Street West establishment at 12:18 p.m. Monday.

A caller at 13th Avenue and Third Street at 5:49 a.m. today reported that a one-way sign had been knocked over and a license plate was on the ground.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

The Hill County Sheriff's Office dispatch log showed no investigations, arrests made or summonses issued from Monday morning to this morning.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Monday.

Firefighters responded to a 10:11 a.m. Monday report of a gas smell on the 400 Block of Second Avenue. A NorthWestern Energy crew also responded and found a gas leak at the meter. The fire crew provided standby while the meter was fixed.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two 17-week-old kittens and four cats of unknown gender, four female cats, two female 9-month-old kittens, one female 17-week-old kitten, one male cat and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, a female mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 6-month-old puppy, two male mix-breed 7-month-old puppies, a female mix-breed 26-week-old puppy, a male mix-breed 10-month-old puppy and a female Labrador retriever dog.
