St Jude school closing due to influenza

St. Jude Thaddeus School announced in a post on its Facebook page about 4:30 p.m. that it will be closed Thursday and Friday due to an outbreak of influenza at the school.

The post said St. Jude's will be open again Tuesday after the Martin Luther King Jr. Day break.

The post said the school has experienced a doubling of absenteeism this week and cannot provide quality instruction to the entirety of its students.
