Letter to the Editor - Community invited to Valentine's Day Vendor/Craft Gala

Will you be our Valentine? The Hill County 4-H program will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Vendor/Craft Gala Saturday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 9, from noon to 4 p.m. at the 4-H Chuckwagon.

Public entry fee is $1 or a nonperishable food item. Money raised from this event will go to the 4-H Foundation, which supports 4-H youth with scholarships, grants and project workshops.

The theme is Valentine’s Day and the public will find vendors that will have items that make a perfect gift for your significant other, best friend, parent, or anyone in your life that you want to show some love! This event is for all ages, and there will be tables where kids can make crafts for a dollar or two. 4-H members will also have chili and rolls available for a free will donation.

Any nonperishable food items collected will be donated to the Havre Food Bank. That same weekend, the Holiday Village Mall will also be having their “Love is in the Air” event and we hope you check out both locations to find all your Valentine’s Day gifts!

If you are a vendor that is interested in having a table at the Chuckwagon, please contact the Extension office at 406-400-2333 to inquire about table fee and to fill out a registration sheet.
