Letter to the Editor - Thanks for bringing holiday spirit to downtown Havre

Dear editor:

I hope many noticed the small holiday wreaths that were attached to the downtown stop signs this past Christmas season. I first noticed them when at the intersection of Third Street and Third Avenue. They made me smile. What a fun touch to downtown. The elves that organized the project — as I understand: Kimmi Boyce and Tera Verploegen — truly added a holiday touch on our town. Thank you!

Also, thank you to the businesses that filled their empty flower planters with evergreen trees adored with red ribbons and lights. They too added a magical sparkle throughout downtown during the holidays.
