Pollington holds farewell show at Artitudes

Artitudes Gallery presents "New Beginnings," artwork by Linda Pollington.

"New Beginnings" is Linda Pollington's farewell show for Havre and Artitudes Gallery. As she moves toward new beginnings in her life, we celebrate the time we have had together and invite others to come by and wish her well in her new adventure.

Pollington paints watercolor with pastel, and acrylics. Her colors are vibrant and the contrast between the lights and darks is stunning. She paints many different subjects, including the local landscape, wildlife, and florals. She has been exploring the Egyptian culture and using traditional Egyptian images in many of her paintings.

Show dates are Feb. 1  through March 31.

Artitudes will host a reception for Pollington Friday, Feb. 21, from 6-8 p.m. People can attend to have refreshments and a chance to visit with the artist.
