Havre Police Department

A summons was issued during a vehicle stop on Montana Avenue Monday at 7:42 a.m., but no details on charges were provided.

A crash involving an SUV and a front end loader was reported at 10:46 a.m. Monday at Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Leonard Wayne Brockie of Great Falls, 43, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 11:55 a.m.

An arrest was made on a warrant at the detention center at 6 p.m. Monday.

Justin David Miller of Rudyard, 34, was issued a summons on a charge of no driver's license and Patrick Leroy Foster of Rudyard, 71, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, during a vehicle stop on Main Street Rudyard at 8:15 p.m. Monday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls between Monday morning and this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held 14 cats and one kitten of unknown gender, two female 10-month-old kittens, four male cats, four female cats and one male 7-month-old kitten. Shelter personnel are working on another round of their trap/spay-neuter/release program, this time in the Fairview Trailer Court area, to help control the feral cat population in the city.

The shelter also held this morning a female mix-breed 22-week-old puppy, a male American Eskimo dog, a female 9-month-old German shepherd, a male mix-breed dog, a male Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed 11-month-old puppy and a male mix-breed 8-month-old puppy.

Births

A boy was born Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, to Shania Walks Over Ice and Rebel Denny of Big Sandy.
