Havre Police Department

A First Street caller reported Monday at 6:27 a.m. that someone had broken into a garage door.

A Third Street caller reported Monday at 7:54 a.m. that someone had broken into a garage at a business.

--

A hit and run vehicle crash was reported at 2:40 p.m. Monday at a First Street business.

--

Leona Marie Chiefstick of Box Elder, 53, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and violation of conditions of release, after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity on First Street monday at 8:44 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Monday at 10:49 a.m. a Central Avenue caller in Kremlin asked for assistance.

A caller reported an abandoned vehicle in Beaver Creek Park Monday at 3:35 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Monday, and firefighters responded to a 10:09 a.m. smoke alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street, but the tenant and building manager met HFD on arrival to say that the alarm was triggered by burned food.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held nine female cats, four male cats, a female 10-month-old kitten, one male and one female 6-month-old kittens, and a male 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male 9-month-old mix breed puppy, a male mix-breed dog, a male Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed 11-month-old puppy, a female mix-breed 22-week-old puppy and a female mix-breed 7-month-old puppy.
