Havre Police Department

Donald Lealan Linderman of Havre, 32, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, possession of dangerous drugs, two counts, and possession of drug paraphernalia, after a caller on Washington Avenue South made a complaint Thursday at 6:40 a.m.

Sella Marie Parisian of Box Elder, 36, was issued a summons on charges of shoplifting, after a caller at a First Street business reported Thursday at 7:36 a.m. that a woman who had stolen from the business the previous day was sitting outside the building.

A sex offense was reported at the police station by Child and Family Services Thursday at 10:34 a.m.

Officers investigated a sexual or violent offender registry violation reported by a probation officer Thursday at 12:36 p.m. on 14th Avenue and an arrest was made at a First Street West business at 3:18 p.m. Robert Alexander McConnell, who was named as an involved party, was listed in the jail roster this morning as being held on a charge of failing to register on sexual or violent offender registry.

A non-injury two-vehicle crash was reported at 13th Street and Eighth Avenue Thursday at 3:28 p.m.

Jordan Miles Hobson of Havre, 27, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants, during a vehicle stop on First Street Thursday at 9:05 p.m.

Stephen David Mills of Havre, 54, was arrested on charges of DUI, failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance, and tail light violation, during a vehicle stop on Main Street at 1:25 a.m. today.

An officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity at 2:13 a.m. today on 9th Ave.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Lisa Ann Stump of Box Elder, 49, was arrested on a trespass to property charge.

A 43rd Street West caller reported a dog bite Thursday at 4:25 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Firefighters responded at 10:55 a.m. to a structure fire on the 100 Block of 16th Street North. Assistant Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said the house had heavy smoke from a fire in the attic. The crew contained and extinguished the fire in the attic. The attic had significant damage but the house didn't appear to be a loss. The home was occupied, but everyone had gotten out of the house safely. It appeared that conducted heat from the chimney caused the fire, Courtnage said.

Firefighters responded to another fire alarm at 8:31 p.m. to the 100 Block of 34th Avenue West, but the call was canceled en route.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held six female cats, two male cats, a female 10-month-old kitten, a female 6-month-old kitten and a male 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male mix breed 9-month-old puppy, a female Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed dog, a male Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed 11-month-old puppy, a female mix-breed 22-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed 7-month-old puppy and a female mix-breed 10-week-old puppy.
