Havre Police Department

A Grant Avenue caller reported debit card fraud at 10:20 a.m. Monday.

Monday at 1:41 p.m., a caller on Fourth Avenue reported a cigarette dispenser had been stolen.

A caller Monday at 2:25 p.m. reported from Second Street that someone had stolen car parts from him.

--

A damaged mailbox was reported on Wilson Avenue Monday at 3:57 p.m.

--

An arrest was made after a caller at a First Street West business reported Monday at 4:54 p.m. that people were yelling at each other behind the building. Holly Watson, who was named in the dispatch log as an involved person, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on a disorderly conduct charge.

Callers at 9:11 and 9:35 p.m. Monday reported a dog attacked a deer near South Dell Drive.

Ryan Lee Grant of Havre, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, and Michael Jay Stump Jr. of Havre, 22, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license and for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, during a 2:41 a.m. vehicle stop on Fourth Street today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Kristian Rand Honadel of Helena, 27, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, after deputies were called Monday at 9:53 p.m. to assist Rocky Boy Police Department.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday and one this morning.

Firefighters responded to two calls Monday. At 5:47 p.m., the responded to a report of smoke in a garage on the 600 Block of 16th Street, where the garage was filled with smoke when the resident started a wood stove fire before opening the chimney flue. No fire was present. And at 6:08 p.m., they and NorthWestern Energy responded to the 800 Block or 13th Street where methane gas was detected, but the source was determined to be a plumbing issue.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held six female cats, two male cats, a female 10-month-old kitten and a male 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male mix breed 9-month-old puppy, a female Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed dog, a male Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed dog, a female mix-breed 23-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed 7-month-old puppy and a female mix-breed 11-week-old puppy.

Births

A boy was born Monday, March 2, 2020, to Taryn and Lane Schmitt of Chinook.
