Havre Daily News/Jack Lambert count
Winds of 49 MPH blow dust in a field Monday on U.S. Highway 2 East of Havre. The high winds have caused highway closures, with part of U.S. Highway 87 north of Great Falls to Carter or farther closed due to wind causing what was listed as zero visibility in some points. The issues continued today, with U.S. Highway 87 12 miles north of Great Falls reduced to single-lane traffic with a flagger. Strong winds remain in the forecast through mid-week with most of north-central Montana expected to see winds from 30 mph to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.
