Obituary - William Laurence Larsen

William Laurence Larsen, 78, passed away of natural causes at Northern Montana Care Center March 1, 2020.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Donations in William's honor can be made to the Havre Eagles Pool Table Fund.

Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

William was born March 2, 1941, to Peter and Ruth Larsen in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He graduated high school and went on to get a certification as a baker. He worked for various bakeries in Havre for 20 years. His skill and artistry in baking and decorating cakes made him popular and he received many requests to custom-bake wedding cakes for marrying couples.

After 20 years of baking, William decided to hang up his apron and pursue delivering mail from town to town on the Hi-Line as a courier for the post office.

William was also an avid hunter. He chased deer and elk all around the Hi-Line and Montana.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Ruth (Stoller) Larsen.

He is survived by his brother, David Larsen of Havre; three sisters, Bonnie Jeska, Diana Sorenson, Betty Shimpa, and niece, Jamie Larsen.
