Nick was born November 14, 1998, in Havre, to Michael and Roberta (Lukee) Stump. He was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 2017. All through middle school and high school, Nick played for the Ice Hawks.

During high school, Nick worked for McDonald's, the movie theater and IGA, and he enlisted in the Army National Guard under the delayed entry program at the age of 17.

Following high school graduation, Nick attended CNA training, and upon completion, began working for Northern Montana Care Center. He had a son whom he adored, and spent every minute he could with him, playing cars, watching Disney movies, wrestling and playing outside. Nick had just begun his college education at Northern this past January.

He loved hockey, hiking, fishing and golfing, especially with his older brother. He also enjoyed football and basketball, and was a sports fanatic with a wealth of sports knowledge that would stump most people. Nick was usually smiling and laughing, and he loved to tease his family, especially his brother and sisters. He was quite the comedian and really liked to make others happy. His time was spent with his son and his siblings, going to the gym or the ice rink, and he was simply fearless when trying new things.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Keith "Keno" Stump and Henry Lukee; cousins Edward Stump and Thomas Jay Shroulote; and great-grandparents Norma and Santiago Sarracino.

Nick is survived by his precious son, Aeson Stump; parents, Michael and Roberta Stump of Havre; siblings, Kiana, Michael, and Kendra Stump of Havre and Eric Stump of Moses Lake, WA; grandmothers, Sandy Sarracino of Havre and Veralynn Farias of New Mexico, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
