Obituary - Louise Verploegen Milligan

Louise Verploegen Milligan, born March 10, 1945, passed away March 1, 2020.  

She was born to J.P. and Lydia Verploegen in Havre, Montana. 

After earning a bachelor's degree in math from Montana State University, she worked in the engineering department for what is now Honeywell in Phoenix, Arizona, and later in manufacturing for Boeing in Mesa, Arizona, where she retired. 

She loved to quilt, making and giving quilts to family, friends and charities; she also made costumes for Wast Valley Children's Theatre. 

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Gary); three grandchildren, Jeffery, Kevin, and Allison (Joseph); six siblings, Joanne, Margie (Thorman), Hank (Deb), Frank (Lorraine), Jim (Nita), and Mary; 13 nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends that will miss her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.P. and Lydia Verploegen of Havre, Montana.

Services will be held at a later date in Cottonwood Cemetery.
