Havre Police Department

Officers issued a summons after a caller from a Sixth Avenue location at 11 a.m. Wednesday reported a dog bite.

Officers investigated a report made from the Havre area at 12:17 p.m. Wednesday that a woman had been assaulted.

Officers investigated a report made from Seventh Avenue at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday of a theft.

Officers responded to a report made from Third Street at 7:01 p.m. Wednesday that the caller found a cell phone in front of their house.

Officers investigated a report made at 5:45 a.m. this morning from First Street that a Ford Focus had been stolen.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies responded to a report made at 9:19 p.m. Wednesday from Mile Marker 350 on U.S. Highway 2 that a dead deer was on the road.

Havre Fire Department

Havre emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre Animal Shelter held this morning a male 9-month-old kitten, a female 11-month-old kitten, six female cats and two male cats, and a cat of unknown gender.

The animal shelter also held a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two male mixed-breed dogs, a male Labrador retreiver dog, a male Chihuauha dog and a male boxer, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 25-week-old mixed-breed puppy

A girl was born Tuesday, March 17, 2020, to Christina Plum and Eric Schweigert of Havre.
