House passes COVID-19 aid package, heads to president for signature

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a package intended to provide aid for states, businesses and people struggling with the impacts of novel coronavirus 2019 and the disease it causes, COVID-19.

The Senate unanimously passed the bill Wednesday.

The record $2 trillion aid package now goes to the president for his signature.
