Havre Police Department

Anthony Terry Enemyhunter of Box Elder, 32, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after a Montana Avenue business caller Wednesday at 10:33 a.m. reported the theft of a ring.

Curtis James Bailey of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of assault and disorderly conduct after a caller at a First Street West business reported a man banging on the doors and windows Wednesday at 11:22 a.m.

An arrest was made after a caller at a First Street business reported Wednesday at 6:10 p.m. that a woman was yelling at someone else whom she didn't appear to know. No details on the charges were provided.

James Robert Leahy of Havre, 65, was arrested on charges of trespass to property, carrying a concealed weapon, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated after a caller at a First Street establishment reported at 10:15 p.m. that a man would not leave.

Kimberly Kay Pewitt of Havre, 47, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and on a Justice or City court warrant, and Jessica Rose Pewitt of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, driving under the influence and no driver's license after a caller at a First Street West business reported people yelling and causing a disturbance Wednesday at 9:13 p.m.

Officers investigated a Wednesday 9:18 p.m. complaint that an unknown vehicle pulled up to a residence, and a female yelled something then threw something at the door. A summons may have been issued in the incident, but no further details were reported.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Desmond Thomas Ferguson of Havre, 26, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after Judge Audrey Barger asked Wednesday at 9:58 a.m. for assistance at Hill County Courthouse.

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 12:41 p.m. report that a mile marker sign was found uprooted in Beaver Creek Park.

Constance Domaine McIntosh of Chester, 35, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft Wednesday at 12:52 p.m.

Jenell Rene Leo of Havre, 43, was arrested on two state District Court warrants served Wednesday at 4:24 p.m. on 24th Avenue Northeast.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters were called back at 6:23 a.m. Wednesday to a fire on the 1600 Block of Smithville Road, after wind had reignited a fire at one residence and spread the fire toward a neighboring house. Both fires were extinguished.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six female cats, four male cats and three cats of unknown gender.

The shelter also held two female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female Border Collie-Corgi cross dog, a male mixed-breed dog.
