Moses Eugene Lawrence of Harlem, 36, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and trespass to vehicles after a Boulevard Avenue caller reported suspicious activity at 10:40 a.m. Friday.

Shelly Rae Welter of Havre, 54, was issued a summons on a charge of theft after a theft was reported at a First Street business Friday at 2:29 p.m.

Julian Topsky of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and minor in possession after an 11th Street West caller reported a domestic disturbance Friday at 3:24 p.m.

A caller reported possible violations at a First Street West establishment Friday at 8:52 p.m.

Larae Ann Sunchild of Havre, 38, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and open container in the city after a caller at Fifth Avenue and 10th Street reported Friday at 9:07 p.m. that an intoxicated woman knocked on the caller’s door and threw a can at a car that was passing by.

Joaquin Scott of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of partner of family member assault and MIP after a caller on 10th Street West reported Saturday at 2:46 a.m. that their son came home intoxicated and trying to fight.

Officers investigated a 3:53 a.m. Saturday report from Fourth Street of a stolen sub-woofer.

Officers investigated a report from a Second Street caller Saturday at 7:23 p.m. that the caller’s mother had been yelling at the caller all day and making threats.

Louis Joseph Morsette Jr. of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on charges of criminal endangerment-two counts, driving under the influence, fleeing or eluding a peace officer, operating a vehicle without valid registration, failing to carry proof of insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, unauthorized use of a vehicle, false reports to law enforcement and driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license during an 11:47 p.m. Saturday vehicle stop on Seventh Street that was prompted by a report from a Havre area caller saying that someone had taken a vehicle in Rocky Boy and was possibly headed to Havre.

Two arrests were made during a vehicle stop on Sixth Street at 12:32 a.m. Sunday, but no details about the charges was provided.

Lance Udell Stump of Havre, 33, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, resisting arrest and assault after a domestic disturbance was reported Sunday at 3:44 a.m. on First Avenue.

Homer Burton Roberts of Butte, 53, was arrested on charges of violation of a protective order and trespass to property after a Seventh Street caller reported a protection order violation Sunday at 6:31 a.m., and officers pulled Roberts over near the bus barn at 6:35 a.m.

Ryden KA Osakoda of Havre, 27, was issued a summons on charges of dog at large and vicious dog after a caller on Summit Avenue reported a dog bite, Sunday at 9:07 a.m.

A 14-year-old girl was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge after a 10th Street West caller asked Saturday at 12:29 p.m. for assistance getting their daughter home and asked Sunday at 10:07 a.m. for assistance with a juvenile.

A Havre area caller reported a stolen watch Sunday at 3:05 p.m.

Officer investigated a theft reported Sunday at 4:44 p.m. at a First Street business.

James Christopher Dahl Jr. of Havre, 33, was arrested on two state District Court warrants served Sunday at 9:08 p.m. on Second Street.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Justin Wade Brown of Havre, 58, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served Friday at 3:57 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 Northeast.

Deputies investigated a vehicle theft reported Saturday at 2:58 a.m. on Fifth Street North.

Trina Lynn Velasquez of Box Elder, 43, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property, and Joseph Charles BigKnife of Box Elder, 31, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of driving without a driver’s license after a trespasser was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 7:33 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies investigated a domestic disturbance reported made at 3:13 a.m. Sunday.

Deputies investigate a complaint made at Bear Paw Lake Sunday at 5:33 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Friday, two calls Saturday and four calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded at 2:05 p.m. Saturday to a fire call on the 200 Block of 15th Street West, where a fire to burn grass and tree limbs got carried out of control in the rising wind to a grassy area and in a wind break. No significant damage was done to the property. The caller had a burn permit.

Firefighters were called to the 400 Block of 19th Street at 2:29 p.m. Saturday. A caller said a third party had contact him about smoke at his house. Firefighters investigated for flames, but determined that the third-party caller had noticed smoke from the nearby fire.

A smoke alarm went off at 6:23 a.m. Sunday at Montana State University-Northern. Firefighters investigated and reset the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held seven female cats and four male cats.

——

The shelter also held two female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female border collie-corgi cross dog and a male mixed-breed dog.

Births

A girl was born Friday, May 15, 2020, to Jamie Montes and James Hobbs of Rocky Boy.

A boy was born Sunday, May 17, 2020, to Chelsea BlackCrow and Dale Fox of Harlem.
