MDT seeks comment on Chester-area project

Montana Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on a proposal to resurface a section of road between Chester and the Liberty County line.

The approximately 11.6 mile project, tentatively planned for 2021, would begin west of Chester at mile marker 321 and extend east to the county line at reference point 332.6.

The work would include crack seal, finishing with a seal and cover commonly called chip seal and upgraded pavement marking and signage. The intent of the improvements is to prevent future pavement deterioration, extend the live of the roadway,...
