Havre Police Department

Homer Burton Roberts of Butte, 53, was arrested on aggravated burglary, partner or family member assault, stalking, strangulation of partner or family member, violation of a protective order and theft after a Seventh Street caller reported a domestic disturbance Thursday at 12:31 p.m.

Officers arrested a 47-year-old Chinook woman and a 51-year-old Havre man after a caller reported two people meeting in a parking lot on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest at 12:37 p.m. Thursday. No further details on charges were provided.

Tyson Payge Denny of Box Elder, 38, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller reported an intoxicated man staggering eastbound along U.S. Highway 2 West Thursday at 5:49 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller on Second Street West reported Thursday at 1:15 p.m. that a storage unit was broken into.

Two callers at 8:57 and 9:10 p.m. reported drivers passing in the construction zone between Havre and Chinook.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held seven female cats and four male cats, as well as two cats, five 5-week-old kittens and six 7-week-old kittens all of unknown gender.

The shelter also held a male pit bull terrier dog, two female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female border collie-corgi cross dog, a female German shepherd dog and a male mixed-breed dog.
