Some girls fast pitch softball was played on the diamond over the weekend. And on Tuesday, the Havre Northstars will play official American Legion Baseball.

Yes, bit by bit, and piece by piece, maybe, just maybe, sports are on their way back.

And we need them. And by we, I’m not just talking about sports fans, I’m not just talking about kids and coaches, I’m not just talking about society.

No, when I say we, I actually mean, the sports staff here at the Havre Daily News. When I say we, I mean sports journalists all over Montana, and beyond.
