Montana State University-Northern head wrestling coach Tyson Thivierge watches a shot during the annual NALSF Golf Tournament Saturday at Prairie Farms Golf Course. The tournament is a fundrasier for the NALSF, and while it was different this year due to COVID-19, it was still a great day for all involved.
The first golf tournament to be played in Havre since the coronavirus pandemic began was held last Saturday at Prairie Farms Golf Course.
Of course, it wasn't a completely normal day on the links for the 2020 NALSF Tournament, as social distancing measures, a reduced field and other pandemic related golf precautions were in effect. But nevertheless, I'm here to say, since I played, and not well I might add, that, despite the changes we're all still getting used to when it comes to golfing during COVID-19, the Northern tournament was a blast.
