Providing opportunity for vendors during pandemic
The sun shines on a nearly empty Holiday Village Mall parking lot last week. The mall is going to host vendors in the parking lot Thursday nights in July to give vendors and shoppers an opportunity to get out during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Holiday Village Mall will be holding a Summer Nights Vendor Fair every Thursday in July from 5 to 8 p.m. and are taking applications from potential vendors interested in participating in the event.
Event Coordinator Jenna Holt said the mall is open to vendors of all kinds of products especially local vendors who haven't had a chance to do much amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
"If they have flowers they want to sell, or crafts, or they have a commercial business, like candles or jewelry, it's open to pretty much anyone who wants to set up and sell," Holt said.
