North Star's Caden Rettig earns MCA scholarship

North Star's Caden Rettig had a brilliant high school athletic career. Now, Rettig has been awarded a prestigious scholarship.

Rettig was given the Ralph Halverson Scholarship by the Montana Coaches Association. He and Shelby Paulson were announced as the recipients of the $1,300 scholarship.

Rettig was a four-year starter for both the North Star football and basketball teams over his high school career. He was All-Conference in both sports, as well as a three-year standout in track and field (senior year canceled by coronavirus). Among other accolades, Rettig is also an honors student....
