Eagle Scout project completed at Fort Assinniboine

A local Boy Scout recently completed his Eagle Scout project out at Fort Assiniboine.

Tyrel Bohn of Havre's Troop 1438 said he repainted all the wood and windows on the outside of Fort Assiniboine Library minus the roof. He painted the wood of a garage on the property as well.

"I thought of helping out to preserve the wood, make sure the paint lasts longer and the foundation look more pristine," he said. 

He plans on checking out his project throughout the years to see how it's holding up and see if it's needed for him to do it again, he said.
