The state updated its COVID-19 tracking map Monday afternoon due to cases being duplicated in repeat reporting of testing.

It also provided a change to its daily update first released at 10 a.m. today. The total number of cases in Montana on the state map after today’s last. update was 743with 9 new cases. The number of hospitalizations, including people hospitalized before being tested, was 91 with 15 active hospitalizations. The number of tests completed was 73,923 with 953 new tests listed this morning. The number of deaths was 21. The number of recoveries was 566 and the number of active cases was 156.

The new cases by county listed were in:

Big Horn: 3 new cases, 66 total

Cascade: 3 new cases, 25 total

Dawson: 1 new case, 2 total cases

Lewis and Clark: 1 new case, 24 total

Yellowstone: 1 new case, 126 total
