Some Montana USDA service centers resuming In-Person office visits

Press release

Some USDA Service Centers in Montana are now allowing in-person office visits by appointment only. Visitors will be pre-screened based on health concerns or recent travel and must adhere to social distancing guidelines. Visitors are encouraged to wear face coverings during their appointments and masks will be available for use at each county office for people who do not have one.

Visitors must call their local service center to confirm the office’s status and schedule an appointment before arrival.

USDA program delivery staff will also continue to work with producers by phone and using online tools for people who do not feel comfortable coming to the Service Center in person.

Online services are still available to customers, including the new Box and OneSpan functionality at https://www.farmers.gov/mydocs that enable customers to sign and share FSA and NRCS documents with USDA Service Center staff in just a few clicks.

Producers can get started with OneSpan, with a quick identity verification. Additional services are available to customers with an eAuth account, which provides access to the http://farmers.gov portal where producers can view USDA farm loan information and payments and view and track certain USDA program applications and payments. Through the FSA website at https://www.fsa.usda.gov/online-services/index , customers can access certain FSA programs and view FSA data, including maps, on FSAfarm+ at https://www.fsa.usda.gov/online-services/farm-plus . Customers who do not already have an eAuth account can enroll at http://farmers.gov/sign-in
