A two-vehicle crash was reported on First Street Friday at 1:03 p.m.

John Ross Bigknife of Box Elder, 28, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 West Saturday at 12:51 a.m.

Jamie Jaymes of Great Falls, 24, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and on a speeding charge during a vehicle stop on Sixth Street Saturday at 2:19 p.m.

Stephen Lewis Newbury of Havre, 40, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served Saturday at 4:02 p.m. on Ninth Street.

Earl Charles Rainingbird of Hays, 53, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants after a caller at the hospital Saturday at 7:27 p.m. reported that man was refusing to leave the building.

Avery Jordan Boe of Hays, 35, was arrested on charges of burglary of a residence, criminal mischief vandalism, two counts of assault and violation of conditions of release after a 16th Avenue caller reported Saturday at 8:02 p.m. that a man was trying to kick a in door.

Jacquline Colleen Chiefstick of Box Elder, 40, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a multi-family dwelling on 10th Street West reported Saturday at 9:59 p.m. that a woman was asleep in the hallway.

Jerimi Thomas Rutherford of Harlem, 32, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license; failure to carry or produce proof of insurance, second offense; aggravated driving under the influence, and on Justice or City Court warrants after an officer at 11:25 p.m. Saturday investigated suspicious activity on U.S. Highway 2 West.

Donald James Williams of Havre, 45, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license after a First Street Northeast caller at 1:42 p.m. Sunday reported a driver parked in a fire zone.

Claton John Allery of Havre, 25, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller from a Second Street facility made a complaint at 6:11 p.m. Sunday.

——

Michael Jay Stump of Havre, 45, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, stop sign violation and failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance, during a vehicle stop at 1:41 this morning on First Street.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Donald James Novak of Havre, 53, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting reported Friday at 1:14 p.m. by a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Friday at 8:08 p.m.

——

Darren Wayne Keith of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and possession of dangerous drugs after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a trespasser at 8:14 p.m. Friday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, three calls Saturday, six Sunday and two this morning. Friday’s call log was not available by printing deadline.

At 11:26 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 1500 Block of Washington Avenue. The crew found a resident using a legal fire pit.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 10-week-old kittens of unknown gender, five female cats and one male cat.

——

The shelter also held a female pit bull dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog cross dog, a male German shepherd dog, a male mixed-breed dog and a female German shepherd dog.

Births

A boy was born Friday, June 26, 2020, to Alissa Morsette and Glen Doney of Havre.
