Bullhook Blossoms feature first yard of 2020

From Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club

The Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club is featuring the yard at 13 Saddle Butte Drive. This very appealing yard is the work of Angela Sebelius and Mark Rowlatt.

This spring, the couple poured a new concrete driveway, sidewalks and made flower beds. Angela has created a beautiful front yard with her love of plants and flowers and her artistic abilities to showcase them.

As you drive up to the house you will see a striking flower bed of perennial and annual flowers surrounding an antique plow. Rising above the plow are the American flag and the Montana flag proudly displayed and there is a solar light that shines light on the flags after dark. Some of the flowers in this display are roses, ribbon grasses and moss roses.

When walking up the driveway, you see a triangular bed of gazanias, purple salvia, yellow ice plants, begonias, impatiens and million belles (calibrachoa). Marigolds are strategically placed among the other flowers to create a Herringbone pattern throughout the flower bed. Behind this bed is a raised bed that sits against the house where orange marigolds, black petunias, gladiolas and a trellised perennial sweet pea are planted.

The front deck boasts many pots and planters of a variety of different colored petunias. Cute lawn ornaments adorn the area.

Around the front of the deck and continuing around the west side of the house is an array of Potentilla bushes, lilies, marigolds, violas, irises, columbine, and many more flowers and plants.

Angela's green thumb and love of gardening is so apparent in this beautiful yard.

Be sure to drive by, stop and enjoy the beauty.
