City Council sends charter proposal to voters, hears stop sign request

Along with sending a proposal to convert Havre to a charter form of government, Havre City Council Monday heard suggestions from a local residents to place stop signs in certain parts of Havre during City Council Monday.

Bill Lanier suggested 4 stop signs be installed at three intersections on 11th Street.

“I’m requesting the city look at taking three intersections that are uncontrolled intersections and making them controlled intersections with stop signs, and that is on 11th Street at Eighth Avenue, Ninth Avenue and 10th Avenue,” he said.
