Havre Police Department

Shayna Jo Marie Koop of Box Elder, 24, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after a caller at a First Street business reported Friday 9:19 a.m. finding an empty packet of possible drugs.

A Second Street caller reported a possible break-in Friday at 10:53 a.m.

--

Officers investigated a two-vehicle, non-injury crash reported on First Street West Friday at 1:50 p.m.

--

A vehicle crash was reported on First Street Friday at 4:14 p.m.

--

A caller at a First Street business reported Friday at 4:16 p.m. that someone turned in a bin full of personal belongings.

--

Officers investigated a Friday 5:57 p.m. report that a women was trashing a Second Street house and stealing items.

--

A caller on Second Street Northeast reported a stolen dog Friday at 11:13 p.m.

--

Jeremy Clement Larsen of Havre, 41, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a caller reported Friday at 11:48 p.m. that two men and two women were outside fighting and throwing things on 10th Street.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, minor in possession and juvenile curfew violations after an officer investigated a report of juvenile curfew violation Saturday morning at 1:44.

A Monroe Avenue caller reported Saturday at 9:07 a.m. that a bike was stolen.

--

Officers investigated a 2:09 p.m. Saturday report of a mail box that had been blown up overnight on Boulevard Avenue.

--

Two bikes were reported found in the 15th Street Alley Saturday at 3:38 p.m.

Donald James Williams of Havre, 45, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after a shoplifter was reported at 5:34 p.m. Saturday at a First Street business.

Joshua Paul Pobursky of California, 19, was issued a summons on a charge of MIP after a caller at a First Street business reported Saturday at 7:58 p.m. that a young man with alcohol was in the parking lot and refused to leave.

Larae Sunchild of Havre, 39, was arrested on charges of burglary to a residence, partner or family member assault, criminal mischief vandalism, trespass to property, disorderly conduct and theft after dispatchers made a return phone call Saturday at 9:14 p.m. to a 911 caller who had hung up, and the caller said they couldn't hear after having been hit in the head.

Curtis George Healy of Harlem, 18, was issued a summons on a minor in possession charge after a 7:19 a.m. Sunday caller requested a well-being check on Fourth Street.

--

Sunday at 10:20 a.m., a caller on 19th Street reported a house and car had been vandalized.

--

A Sunday 12:25 p.m. caller on Lincoln Avenue reported tires had been slashed.

--

Angel Gilead of Havre, 18, was issued a summons on a violation of protective order charge after the violation was reported Sunday at 8:58 p.m.

--

Jason Patrick Torivio of Havre, 36, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a Third Street caller reported Sunday at 11:59 p.m. being in an altercation with an intoxicated family member.

--

A 16th Street West caller asked Monday at 11:25 a.m. for assistance getting a package from a neighbor's residence.

--

Charles Warren Wells of Havre, 62, was arrested on charges of no driver's license and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance and on two Justice or City court warrants during a vehicle stop on First Street at 11:28 a.m. Sunday.

Officers assisted the Tri-Agency Task Force at the Amtrak station Monday at 12:44 p.m.

--

A caller at the skate park reported Monday at 1:09 p.m. finding a bike and a parking block that was destroyed in the middle of the skate park.

--

A Wilson Avenue caller reported finding spray paint graffiti on a shed in the alley Monday at 1:46 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller at a Box Elder establishment reported Thursday at 10:31 p.m. having video of a theft of items from in front of the building.

--

Denise Marie Webb of Dodson, 38, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported the trespasser Friday at 7:20 p.m.

--

A Smithville caller reported Saturday at 11:43 a.m. that three tires had been slashed on a truck.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, one Saturday, five Sunday and four Monday.

--

Firefighters responded to a gas leak on the 1600 Block of Seventh Street North at 5:26 p.m. where a resident had hit a gas line with equipment while doing work. NorthWestern Energy also responded and got the gas shut off.

--

Firefighters responded to three small grass fires Saturday which were quickly put out by the landowners or firefighters: 6:45 p.m. on the 1200 Block of 11th Street North, 8:59 p.m. on the 300 Block of Eighth Avenue West and 10:20 p.m. on the 1600 Block of Second Street.

--

Firefighters were called at 12:26 a.m. Sunday to the 400 Block of Sage Brush Drive where a malfunctioning firework was shooting out 6-foot flames that they helped put out.

--

Firefighters responded to a 9:20 p.m. report of a fire smell at dwelling on the 100 Block of First Avenue but found to indication of fire or a smoke smell.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six 11-week-old kittens of unknown gender, five female cats and one male cat.

--

The shelter also held two female mixed-breed dogs, a female Labrador retriever dog and a male mixed-breed dog.

Births

A girl was born Friday, July 3, 2020, to Minnie The Boy and Lux Benson Jr. of Box Elder.
