Havre Police Department

Forrest Anthony Church of New Town, North Dakota, 36, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported a man was passed out across the street Tuesday at 11:53 a.m.

A summons was issued after a First Street business caller reported a shoplifter. No details on the charges was provided.

Timothy James Tyrrel of Oakridge, Oregon, 56, was issued a summons on an open container charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported a man was crouching behind a wall, screaming at people, this morning at 12:33.

Aaron Albert Popour of Havre, 55, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller reported from Third Street at 1:31 a.m. today that a man had hit a woman in the head, and officers stopped at 2:29 a.m. to speak with a man on Seventh Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a past burglary reported at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday in the county.

A summons was issued during a 4:22 p.m. Tuesday vehicle stop at Montana Highway 234 and Butte Road. No details on the charges were provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday.

Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West, but the alarm was activated by burnt toast.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held fone 12-week-old kitten of unknown gender, two female and two male 12-week-old kittens, five female cats and one male cat.

The shelter also held a male husky-wire-haired pointing griffon dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog and a male mixed-breed dog.
