Havre Police Department

A 17-year-old Havre boy was issued a summons on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, minor in possession, under age tobacco consumption or possession failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense, seat belt traffic crime, failure to yield right of way and reckless driving after a two-person vehicle crash was reported Friday at 6:11 a.m. Friday at Ninth Street and Fourth Avenue.

A Third Avenue caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a residence for two hours Friday at 6:58 a.m.

Claudine Chiefstick of Lodge Pole, 56, was arrested on two justice or city courts warrants Friday at 12:42 p.m. on Second Street.

A McKinley Avenue caller reported a stolen Xbox Saturday at 10:26 a.m.

--

A two-vehicle crash was reported Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at 19th Avenue West and Second Street West.

A caller reported a two-vehicle crash between a car and a truck on First Street was reported Saturday at 10:44 p.m.

--

An officer performed a building walk-through at a First Street establishment at 11:28 p.m. Saturday.

Nicholas Patrick Sessions of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of reckless driving, criminal mischief vandalism, failure to give notice of accident, failure to stop and identify self after striking an unattended vehicle and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after an officer was flagged down Sunday at 12:05 a.m. by three individuals reporting a vehicle crash on Ninth Avenue.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on a "juvenile arrest" charge after a Second Street Northeast caller reported their 15-year-old son was not home at 4:50 this morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Philisha Marie Santio of Box Elder, 37, was arrested on a charge of false reports to law enforcement authorities after Santio asked Friday at 10:14 a.m. for assistance in the dump area and at 1:27 p.m. called in a complaint from the Havre area.

Matthew Allen Bell of Havre, 38, was arrested on a State District Court warrant served in the Box Elder area Saturday at 7:14 p.m.

A caller on Reservation Road in Box Elder reported a trespasser at 8:18 a.m. Sunday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Friday, four calls Saturday, three calls Sunday and two Monday.

Firefighters were called to a good intent call Friday at 9:49 p.m. on the 1000 Block of Fifth Aveneue, where a caller noticed a power line arching. The fire crew performed standby until NorthWestern Energy was onsite.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at a residence hall at Montana State University-Northern, Sunday at 11:19 a.m. No smoke of heat was detected, and the alarm was reset before leaving.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats and one 13-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, two male and two female 13-week-old kittens and six female cats. A female cat was being held separately at the shelter.

The shelter also held a male husky-wire-haired pointing griffon dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog and a male mixed-breed dog.

Births

A boy was born Wednesday, July 15, 2020, to Adelita Russette and Kendall Parker of Box Elder.
