Hill County has new COVID-19 cases

No new cases listed in Blaine, Chouteau or Liberty counties, officials urge people to continue to take precautions

Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hill County Tuesday night.

By this morning, the state COVID-19 tracking map reported three new cases in the county, with 27 active cases and 16 recoveries.

That comes as the 10 a.m. tracking map update today reports 201 new cases for a state total of 3,676 cases and new deaths bringing the state death toll to COVID-19 to 54.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday the last of its confirmed cases is now recovered.

Blaine County has seven recovered cases, all confirmed in July.

Chouteau County has two active and one recovered case, also all confirmed in July.

One of Hill County’s cases was confirmed in March, the rest in July.

Liberty County has one recovered case, confirmed in March.

Health departments and the state government as well as agencies like the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are warning people the virus is still out there and they need to take precautions to avoid acquiring the disease or spreading it to others.
