Friday, the Frontier Conference Council of Presidents announced that in accordance with the NAIA's decision to move the volleyball championships to spring, the league will move its season to the spring as well. That means there will be no Montana State University-Northern volleyball starting Aug. 14 as originally announced. A spring schedule will be announced at a later date. Also last week, the conference announced that the start of the regular season football season has been moved to Sept. 19.
As anticipated, the Frontier Conference announced more major changes to the upcoming fall sports season, including the announcement that the volleyball season has officially been moved to the spring.
Friday, the league announced that league administrators had elected to move the volleyball schedule to the spring. In a statement by the Frontier, it said of the upcoming volleyball season:
