Havre Police Department

Tuesday at 7:43 a.m., a Fifth Avenue caller reported vandalism.

Someone stopped at the police station at 2:48 p.m. Tuesday to speak with an officer.

Someone stopped at the police station Tuesday at 4:11 p.m. to report a case of identity theft.

Officers were called to a First Street West business Friday at 11:18 p.m. to provide assistance.

Ryan Colie Lamere of Box Elder, 37, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at 1:46 a.m. today on Fourth Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller south of Gildford asked Tuesday at 4:40 p.m. for assistance from deputies.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls in the 24-hour reporting period.

Firefighters responded to a report of a gas smell on the 1200 Block of Lincoln Avenue at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday. NorthWestern Energy also responded and cleared the fire crew to leave.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four 6-week-old kittens of unknown gender, two female cats, two male 6-month-old kittens, two male cats, one male 18-week-old kitten and one male 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 14-week-old puppies, a male border collie-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, a female 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Akita dog, two male 10-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a 13-week-old male mixed-breed puppy and a female 16-week-old mixed-breed puppy.

Births

A girl was born Monday, Aug. 24, 2020, to Amber McMurphy and Austin Wilson of Havre.
