Havre Police Department

Officers assisted a woman who had a child locked in a vehicle at Highland Park school Tuesday at 8:44 a.m.

An officer investigating suspicious activity on Fourth Avenue Tuesday at 12:49 p.m. seized two bikes that were discovered to be stolen.

Toni Rae Cochran of Havre, 41, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a caller at a First Street West business reported Tuesday at 2:16 p.m. that a woman had stolen an iced coffee.

Joy Larae Boushie-McConnell of Harlem, 21, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrant, during a vehicle stop on First Street West at 8:48 p.m. Tuesday.

--

Curtis George Healy of Harlem, 18, was issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a man hanging around trying to get into the bar at 12:35 a.m. this morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Tuesday 11:02 a.m. caller reported a break-in at a business on U.S. Highway 2 East.

Mara Jayne Corcoran of Havre, 29, was arrested on charge of assault on a peace or judicial officer, after a caller at Hill County Detention Center reported an assault Tuesday at 12:53 p.m.

A potential theft was reported Tuesday at 2:35 p.m. by a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 East business.

Leann Ahenakew Gardipee of Havre, 44, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants served at 4:19 p.m. at the detention center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday.

Firefighters responded at 6:37 p.m. Tuesday to a fire alarm at a multi-family dwelling on the 300 Block of Fifth Street, where a cooking pan was found to be smoke. No fire had started, but grease left in the cooking pan was smoking. The heat was turned off and windows opened to clear the smoke.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 4-week-old kittens, four 7-week-old kittens and a cat all of unknown gender, two female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, two male cats and one male 19-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 15-week-old puppies, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 19-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Akita dog, two male 11-week-old mixed-breed dogs and a female 17-week-old mixed-breed puppy.
