Havre Police Department

Jerimi Thomas Rutherford of Harlem, 32, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge after a breath test violation was reported at the police station Wednesday at 1:28 p.m.

Someone stopped at the police station Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. to speak with officers about a stolen phone.

A caller reported an intoxicated man walking along Ninth Street at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Jacob Wade Russette of Box Elder, 20, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief vandalism, minor in possession and probation violation, and Raymond Azure of Box Elder, 18, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and MIP after a caller at a First Street business reported at 12:19 a.m. today that a man was passed out in the bathroom and at 12:27 a.m. finding vandalism.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Raymond Azure of Box Elder, 18, was arrested on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs at Hill County Detention Center at 12:28 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Wednesday.

Firefighters responded at 8:12 a.m. to a smoke alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street. The cause of the alarm was burnt toast.

Firefighters were called to the 500 Block of First Avenue at 8:44 a.m. Wednesday for a gas leak. NorthWestern Energy was also called in and the scene was turned over to the NWE crew.

Firefighters responded to a 12:33 p.m. Wednesday alarm at the 10 Block of Third Street West where a malfunctioning alarm was turned off and a repairman called to fix it.

Fire Chief Mel Paulson also reported that an engine and crew were dispatched to Geraldine at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in mutual aid assistance with Natural Resources and Conservation Service. The crew has returned to Havre.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 5-week-old kittens, four 8-week-old kittens and two cats all of unknown gender, two female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, two male cats and one male 20-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 15-week-old puppies, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 19-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Akita dog, two male 11-week-old mixed-breed dogs and a female 17-week-old mixed-breed puppy.

Births

A girl was born Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, to Miranda and Keeven Marquart of Havre.

Twin girls were born Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, to Leann and Philip Decelles of Dodson.
