Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens have provided a list of items that hunters need to remember to stay clear of breaking the law.
Following is a reminder on 10 common mistakes people need to avoid.
1. Trespassing. Hunters must have landowner permission before hunting on private land. In Montana, private land does not have to be posted for a hunter to be guilty of trespassing. Ask first.
