Crimestoppers looks for dog poisoning information

May 23, Memorial Day Weekend, the Havre Police Department responded to a complaint of three dead dogs in a yard in the 1000 block of Eighth Avenue.

Through the investigation and evidence collected at the scene, intentional poisoning was suspected.

Toxicology results from the dogs confirmed that the dogs died of a gopher poison which is not readily available from local sources.

At approximately 2 a.m. may 23, two people were reported walking in the alley near the residence. This is the same time period the dogs started to show symptoms of poisoning.

Additional details are being withheld due to the ongoing investigation.
