Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle crash at 11th Street West and Lincoln Avenue was reported Friday at 7:35 a.m.

A caller reported Friday at 10:58 a.m. what looked like items from a garage dumped behind a first Street West commercial building.

A shoplifter was reported by a caller at a First Street business Friday at 11:38 a.m.

A dog bite was reported at 9:48 a.m. Saturday by the hospital.

Saturday at 10:41 a.m., a Grant Avenue caller reported a car had been egged during the night.

Officers investigated a, 8:50 a.m. Sunday report that someone had backed into and knocked over a fence on Summit Avenue sometime during the previous night.

An officer investigated a two-vehicle crash at a First Street business Sunday at 2:44 p.m.

Ronald Edward Schweitzer of Hingham, 55, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence refused to test and open container in the city after a caller at a First Street West establishment reported Sunday at 5:28 p.m. that a man was passed out in the driver's seat of a pickup truck.

A caller at a Fourth Street business reported at 6:17 p.m. Sunday that someone had been stealing items from a garage.

Three arrests were made during a vehicle stop on 11th Street West at 12:22 a.m. today, but no details were provided on the charges.

A disturbance was reported by a 10th Street West caller at 2:12 a.m. today.

--

Joaquin Manyhorse Scott of Havre, 18, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller reported yelling from a neighbor's apartment at 2:12 a.m. today on 10th Street West.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported deputies had no investigations, arrests or summonses issued over the weekend reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to no calls Friday, six calls Saturday and two Sunday.

Firefighters were called Friday at 5:55 p.m. to the 400 Block of 10th Street for a gas smell. A small leak was found near the meter, so NorthWestern Energy was notified and that crew took over the scene on arrival to fix the leak.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one 21-week-old kitten and two 8-week-old all of unknown gender, four female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, four male cats and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held one male and one female mixed-breed 18-week-old puppies, a female 16-week-old Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, a female 23-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female pit bull terrier dog.

Births

A boy was born Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, to Nicolette and Cody Adams of Fort Belknap.
