Havre Police Department

Kris Pepos of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported a non-combative male shoplifter Thursday at 7:33 a.m.

A caller at a First Street business reported vandalism to a front window Thursday at 8:47 a.m.

--

Justin James Billy of Box Elder, 45, was arrested on a trespass to vehicles charge after officers received a Thursday at 10:12 a.m. report of an intoxicated man trying to break into the trunk of a vehicle.

A caller at the hospital at 1:53 p.m. Thursday requested officer assistance.

Jason Edward Metro of Havre, 33, was arrested on charges of careless driving, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and no vehicle insurance after a two-vehicle crash was reported on Sixth Avenue Thursday at 3 p.m.

An arrest was made during an 8:58 p.m. Thursday vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue. Deion Vincent Brown, who was named in the dispatch log as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute and possession of items subject to forfeiture.

Maya Rae Main of Havre, 18, was issued a summons on a charge of theft, after a Third Street caller reported at 12:42 a.m. this morning that a woman had the caller's daughter's phone.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

The sheriff's Office dispatch log listed no arrests, summonses or investigations to report.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday.

Firefighters responded to a report of a gas odor Thursday at 2:58 p.m. on the 10 Block of Third Street West where maintenance workers starting the boiler for the winter smelled a gas odor. The fire crew didn't detect an odor, but NorthWestern Energy was called in and the scene turned over to that crew.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and one 13-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, four female cats, one female 22-week-old kitten, one male 8-month-old kitten, four male cats and a 9-week-old male kitten.

The shelter also held a female 19-week-old mixed-breed puppy, two male and three female 11-week-old mix-breed puppies, a female 23-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male border collie-Labrador retriever dog, a male 21-week-old shepherd puppy, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 13-week-old shepherd puppy.
