Buerkle, Brurud appointed to Youth Justice Council

In announcements Friday of appointments to state boards, councils, committees and commissions, two Havreites were listed as appointees to the Youth Justice Council.

Kevin Buerkle and Tim Brurud were appointed to the council, which the Montana Board of Crime Control website says is a cross section of public and private employees who are working to prevent or reduce juvenile delinquency and improve the juvenile justice system.

Buerkle is the chief juvenile probation officer for the 12th Judicial District Youth Court.
