New state record set in one-day COVID confirmations

The number of COVID-19 cases and COVID-19-related deaths continues to climb, with the state setting a new record this morning for the number of cases confirmed in one day and a new death reported in Hill County.

The 10 a.m. COVID-19 response map reported that 932 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Montana Wednesday.

That brings the total confirmed in the state to 25,640, with 9,096 active cases, 1,091 active hospitalizations and 278 deaths.

Hill County reported another COVID-19-related death Wednesday along with 29 new cases, bringing the county total 649 with 269 active cases, 12 active hospitalizations and 18 deaths.

Blaine County reported 10 new cases for a total of 252. The county has 140 active cases with nine active hospitalizations and three deaths.

Chouteau County reported 11 new cases with a total of 79 cases in the county, 32 active.

Liberty County reported no new cases with two active cases and 26 recoveries for a total of 28.
